 Connector/ Linker কাকে বলে?

শব্দ বা বাক্য সংযোগকারী শব্দ বা শব্দগুচ্ছকে Connector বলে। তবে সিলেবাসে শুধু Sentence Connector থাকায় আমরা শুধু বাক্য সংযোগকারীদের নিয়েই আলোচনা করব। Conjunction, Adverb, Adverbial Phrase কানেক্টর হিসেবে কাজ করে। 

• Conjunction as Connectors: As, since, because, if, so that, etc.
• Adverb: normally, surely, also, of course, etc
• Adverbial Phrase: on the contrary, on the other hand, etc

Conjunction কোথায় হবে?

সাধারণত দুটি clause এর মাঝে বা শুরুতেই sentence connectors বসে থাকে। বাক্যের শেষে বা বাক্যের শুরুতে গ্যাপের পর কমা থাকলে সেখানে সাধারণত Adverb বসে। এছাড়াও, subject এর verb এর মাঝে adverb বসে। এই adverb এর আগে adverbial phrase ও বসতে পারে কখনো কখনো।

নিচে কিছু Connector দেয়া হলো যাদের একটি থাকলে অপরটি উত্তরে বসবে।

Connectors Rules in Bangla

• যদি দুটি একই ধরনের বাক্য পরপর থাকে এবং অর্থের দিক থেকেও তারা একই থাকে, তবে তাদের মাঝে and বসে।
• দুটি একই ধরনের word এর মাঝেও and বসে।
• Those যুক্ত sentence এর সাথে those এর পর who বসে।
• বাক্যের শুরুতে বা উদ্দেশ্য বুঝাতে To/In order to + base form of verb হয়।
• By + V এর ing। একই নিয়ম without এবং while এর জন্যও

• যা খুশি ঘটুক ধরনের অর্থের জন্য whatever, যখন খুশি ঘটুকের জন্য whenever, যে খুশি হোক এর জন্য whoever। এমনভাবে however, forever, whichever ইত্যাদি বসে থাকে Connectors হিসেবে।
• বিপরীত অর্থের দুটি বাক্যের মাঝে In spite of বসে simple sentence এ।
• এটা ছাড়াও অন্য উপায় বুঝাতে other than ব্যবহৃত হয়।
• ফলাফল বুঝাতে so, therefore, as a result, thus ইত্যাদি বসে।
• উদাহারণ বুঝাতে for example, for instance বসে।
• ধারাবাহিকতা বুঝাতে firstly, secondly, next, then, afterwards ইত্যাদি বসে। 

এবার আমরা একটি Connector এর প্রশ্ন সমাধান করব।
