A Thanksgiving letter for birthday gift

At the top of the letter my cordial greetings to you. I hope you are well by the grace of Allah. I am also fine by His blessings. Sabbir, I am very much pleased to receive the gift sent by you on my birthday. It would have been better to receive the gift from your hand. I missed you a lot. I expected your presence in the function but you have written that you would unable to attend the function due to illness . However, you have remembered my birthday and proved it by sending a nice birthday gift to me. I think that your gift is not just a gift, rather it is an emblem of your love for me. You deserve my thanks. I believe only giving thanks to you will not do. I offer my heartiest love to you.
