What is an idiom? An idiom is an expression or phrase whose meaning does not relate to the literal meaning of its words. In other words “Idioms mean something different than the individual words.

Ex: He invested his savings in the business and it's turned into white elephant đ.
White Lie

Ex: I like the dinner (but you actually didn’t because you don’t want to hurt her)
White Colour

Ex: Your job is a white colour job.
Blue Colour

Ex: After finishing my exam, I would go to paint the town red.

Ex: Starting a company means, we have to go through red tape.

Ex: His friend rolls out the red carpet for him when he visits her.
Red Herring

Ex: The police investigated this case, they had a lot of clues, but everything turned out to be red herring.

Ex: He was caught red-handed stealing money from the office.

Ex: The company is at loss because of the manager, but he still lots of money.
Green with Envy

Ex: That girl got the dress that was my favorite. And the dress is sold out of the store and that’s why I am green with envy.
Green Light

Ex: I got the green light to watch a movie with her.
Green Area

Ex: This Physics chapter is a green area for me.
