Voice change all rules
General rules and exceptional rules for converting active voice to passive voice:
1. Object will be subject.
2. Helping verbs according to tense.
3. Past participle of main verbs
4. 'By' as preposition.
5. Subject will be objective.
☀️Rules for Helping verbs for Voice changes:
1. In case of Simple Present Tense> 'am, is, are' need to be used.
For example: She plays chess.
= Chess is played by her.
2. In case of Simple Past Tense> 'was, were' need to be used.
For example: I drove the car.
= The car was driven by me.
3. In case of Continuous Tense> 'am being, is being, are being, was being, were being, shall be being, will be being' need to be used.
For example:
We are writing some letters.
= Some letters are being written by us.
4. In case of Perfect Tense> 'have been, has been, had been' need to be used.
For example:
He has eaten the mangoes.
= The mangoes have been eaten by him.
5. Modal verbs: If there are Modals like ( Can, Could....) We must use 'can be, could be, shall be, should be, will be, would be, may be, might be, must be, ought to be, am going to be, is going to be, are going to be, am to be, is to be, are to be, have to be, has to be, had to be.'
For example:
You ought to respect your parents.
= Your parents ought to be respected by you.

Exceptional rules for Voice Change:
1. Use Preposition "With" instead of by:
✏️For the sentences with 'pleased, disgusted, charmed, impressed, satisfied etc' as the main verbs.
His behaviour pleased me.
= I was pleased with his behaviour.
2. Use Preposition 'At' instead of by:
✏️For the sentences with 'surprised, annoyed, astonished, alarmed, shocked, laughed, displeased, distressed, disappointed' as the main verbs.
His behaviour annoys me.
I am annoyed at his behaviour.
3. Use Preposition 'To' instead of by:
✏️For the sentences with 'married, known, obliged' as the main verbs.
She will marry him.
= He was married to her.
4. Use Preposition 'In' instead of by:
✏️For the sentences with ' interested, consisted, absorbed, contained' as the main verbs.
For example:
This topic might interest students.
= Students might be interested in this topic.
