Tips and tricks for writing Q/A

 


āχংāϰেāϜিāϤে āĻĒ্āϰāĻļ্āύোāϤ্āϤāϰ āϞেāĻ–াāϰ āĻ•িāĻ›ু āϏাāϧাāϰāĻŖ āĻ—াāχāĻĄāϞাāχāύ (Some common guidelines to write down the answers to the questions in English)


1. āĻĒ্āϰāĻļ্āύ (Questions) āϝāĻĻি Do/ Does āĻĻিāϝ়ে āĻļুāϰু āĻšāϝ় āϤāĻŦে āωāϤ্āϤāϰ (Answers) āϞেāĻ–াāϰ āϏāĻŽāϝ় do/ does āωāĻ ে āϝাāĻŦে āĻāĻŦং āĻĒ্āϰāĻļ্āύāϟিāĻ•ে Assertive sentence āĻ āĻĒāϰিāύāϤ āĻ•āϰāϤে āĻšāĻŦে। Does āĻĻিāϝ়ে āĻļুāϰু āĻšāϞে āωāϤ্āϤāϰ āϞেāĻ–াāϰ āϏāĻŽāϝ় subject āĻāϰ āĻĒāϰে verb āĻāϰ āϏাāĻĨে s/es/ies āϝুāĻ•্āϤ āĻšāĻŦে। Negative sentence āĻšāϞে Subject āĻāϰ āĻĒāϰে don't/ doesn't āĻāĻŦং āĻŽূāϞ Verb āĻāϰ present form āĻšāĻŦে। Subject āϝāĻĻি Third person singular number ( He, she, it, Faisal, Sneha, Dhaka, The boy, The girl..) āĻšāϝ় āϤāĻŦে āĻŽূāϞ verb āĻāϰ āϏাāĻĨে s,es, ies āϝুāĻ•্āϤ āĻšāϝ়। 


āϝেāĻŽāύ: (i). Why do you love cricket?

Answer: I love cricket because it gives me immense pleasure.

(ii). Does she love cricket?

Answer: Yes, she loves cricket a lot./ No, she doesn't./ No, she doesn't love cricket.

(iii). Do you play football?

Answer: Yes, I do./ Yes, I play football./ No, I don't./ No, I don't play football.


2. āĻĒ্āϰāĻļ্āύ āϝāĻĻি Did āĻĻিāϝ়ে āĻļুāϰু āĻšāϝ় āϤāĻŦে Answer āϞেāĻ–াāϰ āϏāĻŽāϝ় did āωāĻ ে āϝাāĻŦে āĻāĻŦং Subject āĻāϰ āĻĒāϰ verb āĻāϰ past form āĻšāĻŦে। Negative sentence āĻšāϞে Subject āĻāϰ āĻĒāϰে didn't āĻāĻŦং āĻŽূāϞ verb āĻāϰ present form āĻšāĻŦে। 


āϝেāĻŽāύ: (i) When did you go to school yesterday?

Answer: I went to school yesterday around 7 am.

(ii) Did he buy the book?

Answer: Yes, he bought the book./ No, he didn't buy the book.


3. āĻĒ্āϰāĻļ্āύ‌ āϝāĻĻি helping verbs / auxiliary verbs/ modals ( am, is, are, was, were, have, has, had, can, could, may, might, must, shall, will, should, would, can be, could be, shall be, should be, may be, might be, must be) āĻĻিāϝ়ে āĻļুāϰু āĻšāϝ় āϤāĻŦে Answer āϞেāĻ–াāϰ āϏāĻŽāϝ় Subject āĻāϰ āĻĒāϰ āĻĒ্āϰāĻĻāϤ্āϤ helping verbs/ auxiliary verbs/ modals āĻŦāϏে। 


āϝেāĻŽāύ: (i)Where ae they playing football?

Answer: They are playing football in the field.

(ii) Is she singing now?

Answer: Yes, she is singing now./ No, she isn't singing now.

(iii) Can the work be completed on time?

Answer: Yes, the work can be completed on time.
