অর্থঃ সুখ-স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যপূর্ণ জীবন।

Many people think that life is a bed of roses.

অর্থঃ কুলাঙ্গার।

Tom is a black sheep in their family.

A blessing in disguise

বিপরীতে হিত ; প্রথমে খারাপ হিসেবে মনে হলেও পরবর্তীতে ভালো হয়।

Sam's motorcycle accident was a 

blessing in disguise because he got enough insurance money.

A bolt from the blue

অর্থঃ সম্পূর্ন অপ্রত্যাশিত।

The news of his father's death came to him as a bolt from the blue.

অর্থঃ খুবই সহজ।

 This assignment is a piece of cake.

অর্থঃ দুর্দিন।

Everybody should save something for  a rainy day.

A slow coach

অর্থঃ কর্মকুণ্ঠ ও মন্থর ব্যাক্তি।

Rocky is known as a slow coach to his friend circle.

অর্থঃ প্রাথমিক জ্ঞান।

Everybody must know at least the ABC of religion.

Above board

অর্থঃ সংশয়হীন ভাবে নির্দোষ।

His activities are open and above 

board.

Achilles heel

অর্থঃ দুর্বলতা বা ত্রুটি।

He is trying to hide but everybody 

knows his Achilles' heel.

He can run ten miles at a stretch
