লাভ নেই

প্রয়োগ ক্ষেত্র : " কিছু করে লাভ নেই যেমন: দুনিয়ার পিছে ঘুরে লাভ নেই, টাকার পিছে ঘুরে লা্ভ নেই, পরনিন্দা করে লাভ নেই, বিদেশ গিয়ে লাভ নেই " ।

Structure: It + is + no good + to + principal verb (present form) + extension

Example:

*ঢাকায় গিয়ে লাভ নেই।

= It is no good to go to Dhaka

★ আজ স্কুলে গিয়ে লাভ নেই।

= It is no good to go to school today. 

★ দুনিয়ার পিছে ঘুরে লাভ নেই  

= It is no good to run after (পিছে ঘোরা) the world.

★ টাকার পিছে ঘুরে লাভ নেই।

= It is no good to run after the money.

★ মিথ্যা বলে লাভ নেই।

= It is no good to tell lie.

★ বিদেশ গিয়ে লাভ নেই।

= It is no good to go abroad.

★ অপরের খুত ধরে লাভ নেই।

= It is no good to pick at (খুত ধরে) others.

★ পরনিন্দা করে লাভ নেই।

= It is no good to backbite (পরনিন্দা করা) .

*তার পিছনে ঘুরে লাভ নেই

= It is no good to run after him.

*মরিচীকার পিছনে ঘুরে লাভ নেই।

=It is no good to run after the mirage
