A fruit vendor has 60 apples and 45 oranges.
1. What is the ratio of oranges to apples?
2. If the vendor wants to keep the same ratio but have a total of 200 fruits, how many apples and oranges should he have?
3. Two workers, A and B, complete tasks in the ratio 7:4. If together they complete 99 tasks, how many tasks does each worker complete?
4. A car and a bike travel distances in the ratio of 5:3. If the bike travels 120 km, how far does the car travel?
5. A painter mixes red and white paint in the ratio 3:2. If the painter uses 15 liters of red paint, how much white paint is needed?
6. The ages of two siblings are in the ratio 7:4. If the older sibling is 21 years old, how old is the younger sibling?
7. A store sells three types of chocolate bars:
Type A costs $5 per bar.
Type B costs $8 per bar.
Type C costs $12 per bar.
Sarika wants to buy a total of 10 chocolate bars. She decides to buy twice as many Type A bars as Type B bars, and the rest will be Type C bars.
1. How many of each type of chocolate bar does Sarah buy?
2. What is the ratio of the total cost of Type A bars to the total cost of Type C bars?
3. If Sarah had a budget of $80, does she have enough money to buy the chocolate bars?
