Definition (English):
A WH-Question is a question that begins with a WH-word (Who, Whom, Whose, What, Which, When, Where, Why, How) to ask for specific information.

āϝāĻ–āύ āϏāĻŽāϝ়েāϰ āĻĻৈāϰ্āϘ্āϝ āĻŦোāĻাāϝ়। (āϝেāĻŽāύ: for, since, hours, days, months, years, It took)

Example:

I studied for 3 hours. → How long did you study?


It took 5 hours to go- How long did it take to go?


2. How often = āĻ•āϤ āϘāύ āϘāύ

āϝāĻ–āύ āĻ•াāϜāϟি āĻ•āϤāĻŦাāϰ āĻšāϝ় āĻŦোāĻাāϝ়। (āϝেāĻŽāύ: always, usually, often, once, twice, every day)

Example:

She visits us twice a week. → How often does she visit you?


3. How many = āĻ•āϝ়āϟি / āĻ•āϤāϜāύ

Example:

Example:

My school is 5 km away. → How far is your school?


6. How tall = āĻ•āϤ āϞāĻŽ্āĻŦা

āϝāĻ–āύ āĻŽাāύুāώেāϰ āĻŦা āĻŦāϏ্āϤুāϰ āωāϚ্āϚāϤা āĻŦোāĻাāϝ়। (āϝেāĻŽāύ: feet, centimetres, metres)

Example:

Rahim is 6 feet tall. → How tall is Rahim?


7. How old = āĻŦāϝ়āϏ āĻ•āϤ

āϝāĻ–āύ āĻŦāϝ়āϏ āĻŦোāĻাāϝ়। (āϝেāĻŽāύ: years old)

Example:

Mina is 12 years old. → How old is Mina?


8. How high = āĻ•āϤ āωঁāϚু

āϝāĻ–āύ āĻ•োāύো āĻ•িāĻ›ুāϰ āωঁāϚু āĻ…āĻŦāϏ্āĻĨাāύ āĻŦোāĻাāϝ়। (āϝেāĻŽāύ: feet high, metres high)

Example:

The wall is 10 feet high. → How high is the wall?


9. How deep = āĻ•āϤ āĻ—āĻ­ীāϰ

āϝāĻ–āύ āĻ—āĻ­ীāϰāϤা āĻŦোāĻাāϝ়। (āϝেāĻŽāύ: metres deep)

Example:

The river is 20 metres deep. → How deep is the river?


10. How wide = āĻ•āϤ āϚāĻ“āĻĄ়া

āϝāĻ–āύ āĻĒ্āϰāϏ্āĻĨ āĻŦোāĻাāϝ়। (āϝেāĻŽāύ: feet wide, metres wide)

Example:

The road is 30 feet wide. → How wide is the road?

Example:

The box weighs 20 kg. → How heavy is the box?
