āĻ•āĻ–āĻ¨āĻ“ āĻ¨া āĻšāĻ“āĻ¯়াāĻ° āĻšেāĻ¯়ে āĻĻেāĻ°িāĻ¤ে āĻšāĻ“āĻ¯়াāĻ“ āĻ­াāĻ˛ো- Better late than never.


1. put up with āĻ§ৈāĻ°্āĻ¯্āĻ¯ āĻ¸āĻšāĻ•াāĻ°ে āĻŽাāĻ¨িāĻ¯়ে āĻ¨েāĻ“āĻ¯়া (to accept someone or something unpleasant in a patient way) I won't put up with this situation any more.


2. let down āĻšāĻ¤াāĻļ āĻ•āĻ°া (disappoint, frustrate, upset)  Don't worry, I won't let you down. 


3.  break up = āĻ¸āĻŽ্āĻĒāĻ°্āĻ• āĻļেāĻˇ āĻšāĻ¯়ে āĻ¯াāĻ“āĻ¯়া (to end a relationship) Nusrat has just broken up with her boyfriend.


4. fall out (āĻāĻ—āĻĄ়া āĻŦা āĻ¤āĻ°্āĻ• āĻ•āĻ°া) (argue and be on bad terms with someone) I've fallen out with my friend


5. hang out/doing chill=  spend time relaxing (informal) ( āĻ†āĻ¨āĻ¨্āĻĻেāĻ° āĻœāĻ¨্āĻ¯ āĻ˜ুāĻ°ে āĻŦেāĻĄ়াāĻ¨ো) We love to hang out very often. 


6. come across= āĻšāĻ াā§Ž āĻ¸াāĻ•্āĻˇাā§Ž āĻšāĻ“āĻ¯়া  (find something unexpectedly) I came across one of my friends while I was crossing the road.


7. give up= (āĻ›েāĻĄ়ে āĻĻেāĻ¯়া/ āĻ¤্āĻ¯াāĻ— āĻ•āĻ°া) (quit, stop doing it, shun, do away with) Never give up your hope.


8. give in āĻĒāĻ°াāĻœāĻ¯় āĻ¸্āĻŦীāĻ•াāĻ° āĻ•āĻ°া(surrender/ sacrifice): This government will not give in to terrorism. Don't give up and don't give in.


9. catch sight of ( at a glance, glimpse, look) āĻ•্āĻˇāĻŖিāĻ•েāĻ° āĻœāĻ¨্āĻ¯ āĻĻেāĻ–িāĻ¤ে āĻĒাāĻ“āĻ¯়া When I caught sight of her, I was overwhelmed with joy.


10. Turn down (āĻ¨াāĻ•āĻš āĻ•āĻ°া/ āĻŦাāĻ¤িāĻ˛ āĻ•āĻ°া) He simply turned down my proposal.


11. Put down (āĻ˛েāĻ–া) Please put down your name at the top of the page.


12. Put on (āĻĒāĻ°িāĻ§াāĻ¨ āĻ•āĻ°া, wear) Put on your party dress.


13. Put out (āĻ¨েāĻ­াāĻ¨ো) Put out the light/ lamp before leaving the room.


14. Put off/ take off (āĻ–ুāĻ˛ে āĻĢেāĻ˛া, āĻĢেāĻ˛ে āĻ°াāĻ–া) Put off your shoes before entering the room. / Don't put off today's work for tomorrow.


15.Take off (āĻ‰āĻĄ্āĻĄāĻ¯়āĻ¨ āĻ•āĻ°া, fly from the ground) The plane has just taken off.


16. Get rid of (āĻŽুāĻ•্āĻ¤ āĻšāĻ“āĻ¯়া, āĻĒāĻ°িāĻ¤্āĻ°াāĻŖ āĻĒাāĻ“āĻ¯়া, relieve) You can usually get rid of hiccups by drinking water very quickly.


16. Bring up (āĻ˛াāĻ˛āĻ¨ āĻĒাāĻ˛āĻ¨ āĻ•āĻ°া) rear up- Every parents brought up their children with love and care.


18. Break down āĻ­েāĻ™্āĻ—ে āĻĒāĻĄ়া/ āĻŦিāĻ•āĻ˛ āĻšāĻ“āĻ¯়া His health has been broken down./ Our car broke down at the side of the highway yesterday.


19. Break out āĻšāĻ াā§Ž āĻ›āĻĄ়িāĻ¯়ে āĻĒāĻĄ়া (spread) Coronavirus has broken out all over the world.


20. Take care of āĻ¯āĻ¤্āĻ¨ āĻ¨েāĻ“āĻ¯়া We should take care of our health.


21. Take after āĻĻেāĻ–āĻ¤ে āĻāĻ•āĻ‡ āĻ°āĻ•āĻŽ āĻšāĻ“āĻ¯়া The girl takes after her mother.


22. Take out āĻ°েāĻ¸্āĻŸুāĻ°েāĻ¨্āĻŸেāĻ° āĻ–াāĻŦাāĻ° āĻŦাāĻ‡āĻ°ে āĻ¨িāĻ¯়ে āĻ–াāĻ“āĻ¯়া You can take out the food.


23. Take over- āĻ¨িāĻ¯়āĻ¨্āĻ¤্āĻ°āĻŖ āĻ¨েāĻ“āĻ¯়া (take control) He took over his father's business.


24. Take part āĻ…ংāĻļāĻ—্āĻ°āĻšāĻŖ āĻ•āĻ°া (participate) He took part the debate competition.


25. Look after āĻĻেāĻ–াāĻļোāĻ¨া āĻ•āĻ°া We should look after our parents.


26. Look at āĻ¤াāĻ•াāĻ¨ো Look at me.


27. Look up āĻ•োāĻ¨ āĻ¤āĻĨ্āĻ¯ āĻ–োঁāĻœা He is looking up a word in the dictionary.


28. Look into āĻ•োāĻ¨ āĻ˜āĻŸāĻ¨া āĻ­াāĻ˛োāĻ­াāĻŦে āĻ…āĻ¨ুāĻ¸āĻ¨্āĻ§াāĻ¨ āĻ•āĻ°া (investigate) The police looked into his business dealings.


29. Call off āĻŦাāĻ¤িāĻ˛ (cancel, withdraw) Eventually we called off the programme 


30. Call on āĻĻেāĻ–া āĻ•āĻ°া (visit) I went to the hospital to call on my ailing friend.


31. Call in āĻĄেāĻ•ে āĻĒাāĻ াāĻ¨ো Please call in a doctor quickly.


32. Carry on āĻšাāĻ˛িāĻ¯়ে āĻ¯াāĻ“āĻ¯়া (continue) Please carry on your duty.


33. Carry out āĻ¸āĻŽ্āĻĒāĻ¨্āĻ¨ āĻ•āĻ°া ( to complete something) carry out my order.


34. Carry off āĻ…āĻ°্āĻœāĻ¨ āĻ•āĻ°া She failed to carry off the gold medal.


35. Run after āĻĒিāĻ›ু āĻ›োāĻŸা / āĻ§াāĻ“āĻ¯়া āĻ•āĻ°া ( pursue/ chase) Why do dogs run after cats?
