āĻ•āĻ–āύāĻ“ āύা āĻšāĻ“āϝ়াāϰ āϚেāϝ়ে āĻĻেāϰিāϤে āĻšāĻ“āϝ়াāĻ“ āĻ­াāϞো- Better late than never.


1. put up with āϧৈāϰ্āϝ্āϝ āϏāĻšāĻ•াāϰে āĻŽাāύিāϝ়ে āύেāĻ“āϝ়া (to accept someone or something unpleasant in a patient way) I won't put up with this situation any more.


2. let down āĻšāϤাāĻļ āĻ•āϰা (disappoint, frustrate, upset)  Don't worry, I won't let you down. 


3.  break up = āϏāĻŽ্āĻĒāϰ্āĻ• āĻļেāώ āĻšāϝ়ে āϝাāĻ“āϝ়া (to end a relationship) Nusrat has just broken up with her boyfriend.


4. fall out (āĻāĻ—āĻĄ়া āĻŦা āϤāϰ্āĻ• āĻ•āϰা) (argue and be on bad terms with someone) I've fallen out with my friend


5. hang out/doing chill=  spend time relaxing (informal) ( āφāύāύ্āĻĻেāϰ āϜāύ্āϝ āϘুāϰে āĻŦেāĻĄ়াāύো) We love to hang out very often. 


6. come across= āĻšāĻ াā§Ž āϏাāĻ•্āώাā§Ž āĻšāĻ“āϝ়া  (find something unexpectedly) I came across one of my friends while I was crossing the road.


7. give up= (āĻ›েāĻĄ়ে āĻĻেāϝ়া/ āϤ্āϝাāĻ— āĻ•āϰা) (quit, stop doing it, shun, do away with) Never give up your hope.


8. give in āĻĒāϰাāϜāϝ় āϏ্āĻŦীāĻ•াāϰ āĻ•āϰা(surrender/ sacrifice): This government will not give in to terrorism. Don't give up and don't give in.


9. catch sight of ( at a glance, glimpse, look) āĻ•্āώāĻŖিāĻ•েāϰ āϜāύ্āϝ āĻĻেāĻ–িāϤে āĻĒাāĻ“āϝ়া When I caught sight of her, I was overwhelmed with joy.


10. Turn down (āύাāĻ•āϚ āĻ•āϰা/ āĻŦাāϤিāϞ āĻ•āϰা) He simply turned down my proposal.


11. Put down (āϞেāĻ–া) Please put down your name at the top of the page.


12. Put on (āĻĒāϰিāϧাāύ āĻ•āϰা, wear) Put on your party dress.


13. Put out (āύেāĻ­াāύো) Put out the light/ lamp before leaving the room.


14. Put off/ take off (āĻ–ুāϞে āĻĢেāϞা, āĻĢেāϞে āϰাāĻ–া) Put off your shoes before entering the room. / Don't put off today's work for tomorrow.


15.Take off (āωāĻĄ্āĻĄāϝ়āύ āĻ•āϰা, fly from the ground) The plane has just taken off.


16. Get rid of (āĻŽুāĻ•্āϤ āĻšāĻ“āϝ়া, āĻĒāϰিāϤ্āϰাāĻŖ āĻĒাāĻ“āϝ়া, relieve) You can usually get rid of hiccups by drinking water very quickly.


16. Bring up (āϞাāϞāύ āĻĒাāϞāύ āĻ•āϰা) rear up- Every parents brought up their children with love and care.


18. Break down āĻ­েāĻ™্āĻ—ে āĻĒāĻĄ়া/ āĻŦিāĻ•āϞ āĻšāĻ“āϝ়া His health has been broken down./ Our car broke down at the side of the highway yesterday.


19. Break out āĻšāĻ াā§Ž āĻ›āĻĄ়িāϝ়ে āĻĒāĻĄ়া (spread) Coronavirus has broken out all over the world.


20. Take care of āϝāϤ্āύ āύেāĻ“āϝ়া We should take care of our health.


21. Take after āĻĻেāĻ–āϤে āĻāĻ•āχ āϰāĻ•āĻŽ āĻšāĻ“āϝ়া The girl takes after her mother.


22. Take out āϰেāϏ্āϟুāϰেāύ্āϟেāϰ āĻ–াāĻŦাāϰ āĻŦাāχāϰে āύিāϝ়ে āĻ–াāĻ“āϝ়া You can take out the food.


23. Take over- āύিāϝ়āύ্āϤ্āϰāĻŖ āύেāĻ“āϝ়া (take control) He took over his father's business.


24. Take part āĻ…ংāĻļāĻ—্āϰāĻšāĻŖ āĻ•āϰা (participate) He took part the debate competition.


25. Look after āĻĻেāĻ–াāĻļোāύা āĻ•āϰা We should look after our parents.


26. Look at āϤাāĻ•াāύো Look at me.


27. Look up āĻ•োāύ āϤāĻĨ্āϝ āĻ–োঁāϜা He is looking up a word in the dictionary.


28. Look into āĻ•োāύ āϘāϟāύা āĻ­াāϞোāĻ­াāĻŦে āĻ…āύুāϏāύ্āϧাāύ āĻ•āϰা (investigate) The police looked into his business dealings.


29. Call off āĻŦাāϤিāϞ (cancel, withdraw) Eventually we called off the programme 


30. Call on āĻĻেāĻ–া āĻ•āϰা (visit) I went to the hospital to call on my ailing friend.


31. Call in āĻĄেāĻ•ে āĻĒাāĻ াāύো Please call in a doctor quickly.


32. Carry on āϚাāϞিāϝ়ে āϝাāĻ“āϝ়া (continue) Please carry on your duty.


33. Carry out āϏāĻŽ্āĻĒāύ্āύ āĻ•āϰা ( to complete something) carry out my order.


34. Carry off āĻ…āϰ্āϜāύ āĻ•āϰা She failed to carry off the gold medal.


35. Run after āĻĒিāĻ›ু āĻ›োāϟা / āϧাāĻ“āϝ়া āĻ•āϰা ( pursue/ chase) Why do dogs run after cats?


36. Figure out āĻŦুāĻāϤে āĻĒাāϰা/ āϚিāύ্āϤা āĻ•āϰা/ āĻ•োāύ āϏāĻŽāϏ্āϝাāϰ āϏāĻŽাāϧাāύ āĻ–ুঁāϜে āĻŦেāϰ āĻ•āϰা solve a problem or discover the answer to a question.- I can't figure out how to solve this problem.
