Importance of learning vocabulary

                  Preface
শব্দভাণ্ডার (vocabulary) হচ্ছে ভাষার (Language) প্রধান বাহন! শব্দ ও তার সঠিক ব্যবহার জানা থাকলে যে কোন ভাষা রপ্ত করা সহজতর হয় ‌। এ লক্ষ্যে এ বইটিতে কিছু উচ্চমানের (high standard) শব্দ ও তাদের সঠিক ব্যবহার শেখানোর জন্য খুব সহজ ও কার্যকর নিয়মে বাংলা ও ইংরেজীতে  Tense এর অবতারণা করা হয়েছে যা একজন শিক্ষার্থীকে ইংরেজি ভাষা তথা অনর্গল ইংরেজিতে কথা বলতে, Spoken English শেখার ব্যাপারে পথপ্রদর্শকের ভূমিকা পালন করবে।
Vocabulary and its proper utilization are the lethal weapons of any language. To fullfil this requirement a simple initiative of publishing a book named "Smart English" has been taken. There is no denying the fact that the necessity of learning English is not overstated. In every sphere of our life English is a must as it is called Lingua Franca. Quality teaching is mandatory to fulfill this essence. Necessary vocabulary with proper utilization can ease our English learning to a greater extent. To use the words accurately, knowledge of tenses is a must. In this book tenses in English and Bangla have been discussed thoroughly so that a student can be benefitted with lucidity. These 1212 words are handy for any competitive exams like O/A Level, BCS, Bank Jobs, Primary Teachers recruitment, University admission test, JSC, SSC, HSC and above all Spoken English.

Vocabulary ও Tense আমরা নানাভাবে শেখার চেষ্টা করি কিন্তু দিনশেষে বারবার ভুলে যাই। বাঙ্গালীতো!  শুদ্ধভাবে বাঙ্গলা জেনে Vocabulary ও  Tense শেখা শুরু করা উচিৎ ।
মোটা দাগে বলা যায়  Only proper methodology of teaching can solve this problem.

কবি গুরু রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর যেমনটি বলেছিলেন: "আগে চাই বাংলা ভাষার গাঁথুনী, তারপর ইংরেজি শেখার পত্তন!"
