āĻ¸ে āĻ¨াāĻে- She dances.
āĻ°াāĻšি āĻেāĻˇ্āĻা āĻāĻ°ে- Rahi tries.
āĻ˛āĻ্āĻˇ্āĻ¯ āĻāĻ°: āĻāĻĒāĻ°েāĻ° āĻŦাāĻ্āĻ¯ āĻুāĻ˛োāĻ¤ে He, She, Rahi, subject āĻুāĻ˛ো third person singular number(āĻāĻāĻŦāĻāĻ¨).
āĻিāĻ¨্āĻ¤ু subject third person āĻšāĻ¯়েāĻ āĻ¯āĻĻি plural number(āĻŦāĻšুāĻŦāĻāĻ¨) āĻšāĻ¯় āĻ¤াāĻšāĻ˛ে verb āĻāĻ° āĻ¸াāĻĨে s/es āĻ¯ুāĻ্āĻ¤ āĻšāĻ¯় āĻ¨া ।
āĻ¯েāĻŽāĻ¨:
āĻ¤াāĻšাāĻ°া āĻাāĻ¤ āĻাāĻ¯় - They eat rice.
āĻŽাāĻšি āĻ āĻাāĻী āĻাāĻ¨ āĻাāĻ¯় - Mahi and Zaki sing a song.
āĻāĻাāĻ¨ে subject āĻুāĻ˛ো āĻšāĻ˛ plural (āĻŦāĻšুāĻŦāĻāĻ¨).
2. Present indefinite Tense āĻāĻ° āĻŦাāĻ্āĻ¯েāĻ° subject third person āĻ singular number āĻšāĻ˛েāĻ āĻŦাāĻ্āĻ¯āĻি āĻ¯āĻĻি negative āĻšāĻ¯় āĻ¤াāĻšāĻ˛ে āĻ¤াāĻ¤ে does not āĻŦ্āĻ¯āĻŦāĻšৃāĻ¤ āĻšāĻ¯় āĻāĻŦং āĻ¤āĻāĻ¨ verb āĻāĻ° āĻ¸াāĻĨে s/es āĻšāĻ¯় āĻ¨া ।

3. Past or future Tense āĻšāĻ˛ে verb āĻāĻ° āĻ¸াāĻĨে s/es āĻ¯ুāĻ্āĻ¤ āĻšāĻ¯় āĻ¨া । āĻ¸েāĻ্āĻˇেāĻ¤্āĻ°ে āĻ¸েāĻ Tense āĻāĻ° structure āĻ āĻ¨ুāĻ¯াāĻ¯়ী verb āĻŦāĻ¸āĻŦে ।
4. Modal verb āĻ¯েāĻŽāĻ¨: can,could,may,might,shall,should,will,would,dare,need,ought to,have to, must, dare āĻāĻ° āĻĒāĻ°ে verb āĻāĻ° āĻ¸াāĻĨে āĻোāĻ¨ āĻিāĻু āĻ¯োāĻ āĻ¨া āĻšāĻ¯়ে verb āĻāĻ° present form āĻŦāĻ¸āĻŦে ।

āĻ¯েāĻŽāĻ¨:
✘Inc:- Ten years passed since he has left the village.(āĻĻāĻļ āĻŦāĻāĻ° āĻšāĻ˛ āĻ¸ে āĻ্āĻ°াāĻŽ āĻেāĻĄ়েāĻে)
✔ Cort:-Ten years have passed since he left the village.
✘Inc:- Two days passed away since he has died ( āĻĻুāĻĻিāĻ¨ āĻšāĻ˛ āĻ¸ে āĻŽāĻ°েāĻে )
Correct: Two days have passed away since he died.
8. Since āĻ¯āĻāĻ¨ Adverb āĻšিāĻ¸াāĻŦে āĻŦāĻ¸ে ago(āĻāĻে) āĻāĻ° āĻŽāĻ¤ āĻ āĻ°্āĻĨ āĻĒ্āĻ°āĻাāĻļ āĻāĻ°ে āĻ¤āĻāĻ¨ āĻāĻ since āĻāĻ° āĻāĻে āĻāĻāĻি Adverb of time āĻŦāĻ¸ে āĻāĻŦং verb āĻāĻ° past indefinite Tense āĻšāĻ¯় ।

✘Inc:- I have seen my wife long since(ago). (āĻ āĻ¨েāĻ āĻāĻে āĻāĻŽি āĻāĻŽাāĻ° āĻŦāĻāĻে āĻĻেāĻেāĻিāĻ˛াāĻŽ)
✔ Cort:-I saw my wife long since(ago)
āĻ˛āĻ্āĻˇ্āĻ¯ āĻāĻ°: āĻāĻাāĻ¨ে long since āĻāĻ° āĻāĻে adverb of time āĻšিāĻ¸াāĻŦে āĻŦāĻ¸েāĻে ।
9. Before āĻŽাāĻ¨ে āĻšāĻ˛ "āĻāĻে" । āĻāĻ° āĻāĻে verb āĻāĻ° past perfect tense(had + verb āĻāĻ° past participle) āĻŦāĻ¸ে । āĻāĻŦাāĻ° after āĻŽাāĻ¨ে āĻšāĻ˛ "āĻĒāĻ°ে" । āĻāĻ°āĻĒāĻ°ে past perfect tense (had + verb āĻāĻ° past participle) āĻŦāĻ¸ে ।
āĻ¯েāĻŽāĻ¨:
āĻĄাāĻ্āĻ¤াāĻ° āĻāĻ¸াāĻ° āĻāĻে āĻ°োāĻীāĻি āĻŽাāĻ°া āĻেāĻ˛ : The patient had died before the doctor came

10. āĻŦāĻ°্āĻ¤āĻŽাāĻ¨ে āĻোāĻ¨ āĻাāĻ āĻ¸āĻŽ্āĻĒāĻ¨্āĻ¨ āĻšāĻ¯়েāĻে āĻāĻ°ুāĻĒ āĻ āĻ¨ুāĻŽাāĻ¨ āĻŦুāĻাāĻ˛ে āĻ¤āĻāĻ¨ verb āĻāĻ° future perfect tense (Subject + shall / will + have + verb(past participle) ) ।
āĻ¯েāĻŽāĻ¨:
āĻ¸ে āĻšāĻ¯়āĻ¤ (āĻ¨িāĻļ্āĻিāĻ¤ āĻ āĻ¨ুāĻŽাāĻ¨) āĻāĻ¤āĻ্āĻˇāĻ¨ে āĻ¸িāĻ°াāĻāĻāĻ্āĻ āĻĒৌāĻে āĻেāĻে - He will have reached Sirajganj by this time.

11. Lest āĻĻ্āĻŦাāĻ°া āĻĻুāĻি clause āĻ¯ুāĻ্āĻ¤ āĻšāĻ˛ে āĻĒāĻ°āĻŦāĻ°্āĻ¤ী clause āĻāĻ° verb āĻāĻ° āĻāĻে should āĻŦāĻ¸ে । āĻ verb āĻিāĻ° negative āĻ°ুāĻĒ āĻŦ্āĻ¯āĻŦāĻšাāĻ° āĻāĻ°া āĻ¯াāĻ¯় āĻ¨া ।

13. āĻ āĻ¤ীāĻ¤āĻাāĻ˛ে āĻোāĻ¨ āĻাāĻ āĻāĻেāĻে āĻāĻ°ুāĻĒ āĻ¨িāĻļ্āĻিāĻ¤ āĻ āĻ¨ুāĻŽাāĻ¨ āĻŦুāĻাāĻ¤ে must have + verb āĻāĻ° past participle āĻŦ্āĻ¯āĻŦāĻšৃāĻ¤ āĻšāĻ¯় ।

He didn't go to school yesterday , He must have been ill.
āĻ¸ে āĻāĻ¤āĻাāĻ˛ āĻ¸্āĻুāĻ˛ে āĻ¯াāĻ¯়āĻ¨ি , āĻ¨িāĻļ্āĻāĻ¯়āĻ āĻ¸ে āĻ āĻ¸ুāĻ¸্āĻĨ āĻĨাāĻāĻŦে ।
14. āĻোāĻ¨ āĻাāĻŽāĻ¨া (wish, desire) āĻŦুāĻাāĻ¤ে subject āĻāĻ° āĻāĻে may āĻŦāĻ¸ে । āĻāĻŽāĻ¨ āĻŦাāĻ্āĻ¯āĻিāĻে āĻŦāĻ˛ে optative sentence.
āĻ¯েāĻŽāĻ¨:
May you be happy - āĻ¤ুāĻŽি āĻ¸ুāĻী āĻšāĻ ।
May Allah bless you - āĻāĻ˛্āĻ˛াāĻš āĻ¤োāĻŽাāĻ° āĻŽāĻ্āĻāĻ˛ āĻāĻ°ুāĻ¨ ।
15. As if, as though āĻĻ্āĻŦাāĻ°া āĻĻুāĻāĻি clause āĻ¯ুāĻ্āĻ¤ āĻšāĻ˛ে āĻĒ্āĻ°āĻĨāĻŽ clause āĻিāĻ° verb present tense āĻāĻ° āĻšāĻ˛েāĻ āĻĒāĻ°āĻŦāĻ°্āĻ¤ী clause āĻিāĻ° verb āĻāĻ° past indefinite tense āĻšāĻ¯় ।
āĻ¯েāĻŽāĻ¨:
He talks as if he were(was āĻ¨āĻ¯়) mad - āĻ¸ে āĻĒাāĻāĻ˛েāĻ° āĻŽāĻ¤ āĻāĻĨা āĻŦāĻ˛ে ।
He behaves as if he owned the house - āĻ¸ে āĻāĻŽāĻ¨āĻাāĻŦে āĻāĻĨা āĻŦāĻ˛ে āĻ¯েāĻ¨ āĻ¸ে āĻŦাāĻĄ়িāĻিāĻ° āĻŽাāĻ˛িāĻ ।
16. A). No sooner had +sub+verb(past participle)+ than + Past indefinite tense.
B). Scarcely had + sub + verb(past participle) + When + Past indefinite tense.
C). Hardly had + sub + verb(past participle) + When + Past indefinite tense.

āĻāĻŽি āĻ¸্āĻেāĻļāĻ¨ে āĻĒৌāĻāĻ¤ে āĻ¨া āĻĒৌāĻāĻ¤েāĻ āĻ্āĻ°েāĻ¨ āĻেāĻĄ়ে āĻĻিāĻ˛ ।
= No sooner had I reached the station than the train left(past form).
= Scarcely had I reached the station when the train left(past form).
= Hardly had I reached the station when the train left(past form).
