= No other girl is as happy as she.
6. I knew her better than you. ( Positive)
= You didn't know her as like as me.
7. In spite of his poverty, he is honest. (Complex).
= Though he is poor, he is honest.
8. Do or die. ( Complex).
= If you don't do, you will die.
9.  Without doing hard work, you won't prosper in life. ( Complex)
= Unless you work hard, you won't prosper in life./ If you don't work hard, you won't prosper in life.
10. We read books to gain knowledge. ( Complex )
= We read books so that we can gain knowledge.
11. Despite his riches, he is unhappy. ( Compound)
= He is rich but unhappy.
12. Though he was sick, he went to college. ( Simple)
= In spite of his being sick/ in spite of his sickness, he went to college.
13. She couldn't go to school on account of his illness. ( Complex).
14. She couldn't go to school because she was sick./ As she was sick, she couldn't go to school.
15. He is a pious man. ( Complex).
= He is a man who is pious.
16. I was born in Sirajganj. ( Complex)
= Sirajganj is a place where I was born.
17. I get up at 6 am. ( Complex)
= 6 am is a time when I get up.
18. In spite of his being poor, he is honest. ( Complex).
= Though he is poor, he is honest.
19. You are responsible for this misdeed. ( Complex).
= It is you who are responsible for misdeed.
20. Without having dedication, you can't succeed in life.( Complex).
= If you don't have dedication, you can't succeed in life. / Unless you have dedication, you can't succeed in life.
21. He is so smart that he can't be cheated. ( Simple).
= He is smart enough to be cheated.
22. He was so tired that he could not walk. ( Simple).
= He was too tired to walk.
23. He studies diligently so that/ in order that he can get A+ in the exam. ( Simple).
= He studies diligently in order to get A+ in the exam.
24. When the sun set, we returned home. ( Compound).
= The sun set and we returned home.

= Rice is cheap when it is sold.

= I have lost my pen.
43. Why didn't she drive the car? (passive)
= Why wasn't the care driven by her?
44. I have to write a letter. (Passive).
= A letter has to be written by me.
45. Who will feed the cat ?
= By whom will the cat be fed?
46. A promise should be kept( make an active)
= One should keep one's promise.
47. I was obliged to go.( Make active)
= Circumstances obliged me to go.
48. What cannot be cured must be endured.( Make an active)
= We must endure what we cannot  cure.

= Time flies very fast.
