🙄😀বালতিতে লাথি মারো-(Kick the bucket) অর্থ  'মারা যাওয়া!'  এহেন শত শত idioms ও slang পশ্চিমা দেশের লোকজন তথা  আমেরিকানরা হামেশাই ব্যবহার করে থাকেন। বিশ্বায়নের (Globalization) এর যুগে আমাদেরকেও জেনে রাখতে হয়। জেনে নিই ....

☑️1. Break a leg- (কাউকে উৎসাহ বা অনুপ্রেরণা দিতে ব্যবহৃত হয়) in order to encourage someone, good luck, best wishes- I hope you break a leg at your job interview tomorrow.

☑️2. Kick the bucket- মারা যাওয়া pass away, die, breath one's last- He kicked the bucket last night due to cardiac arrest.

☑️3  Hit the bed- ঘুমাতে যাওয়া go to bed, go to sleep- When do you usually hit the bed? 

☑️4. Knockout দেখতে আকর্ষণীয় ব্যক্তি বা বস্তু matchless beauty, unparalleled beauty,  appealing, or attractive person or thing- A knockout dress. A knockout girl. You are knockout!

☑️5. Loose scart যার নৈতিক চরিত্র সন্তোষজনক নয় Whose moral character is not good- She is such a loose scart, so, shun the evil company

☑️6.  You are broke- অর্থনৈতিকভাবে সম্পূর্ণভাবে বিধ্বস্ত

☑️8. You are done খুবই ক্লান্ত exhausted, extremely tired

☑️9. Have a crush –প্রেমে পড়া Attracted to someone romantically.-   She has a big crush on the handsome guy.

☑️10. Pissed off খুবই রাগান্বিত very annoyed, irritated- I am pissed off because of his misconduct.

☑️11. Hang out – ঘুরাঘুরি করা, বেড়ানো, সময় কাটানো To spend time with others- “Want to hang out with me?”

☑️13. Cool/ chill/ awesome শান্ত, আরামদায়ক, মজা, দেখতে সুন্দর He is a cool person.
