  'English' নতুন পাঠ্যক্রম (Curriculum) নিয়ে আলোচনা।  গৌণ শিরোনাম (Subtitle): নতুন ও পুরোনো পাঠ্যক্রমের তুলনামূলক আলোচনা।  _______________________________ আগের Curriculum: Present continuous/ Present Progressive: Sub + am/is/are + V1(ing) + Extension  Past continuous: Sub + was/were + V1(ing) + ........  হয়ে গেল দুইটি Tense শেখা। কিন্তু রয়ে গেলো অনেক কিছুই বাকি। বাকিগুলোও এইভাবে Structure দিয়েই Tense শেষ। শিক্ষার্থীরা Tense চিনতে পারে বাক্যে Structure দেখে, কিন্তু Tense এর ব্যবহার জানে না। মানে কখন Present Continuous ব্যবহার করা হয়, আর কখন Past continuous করা হয় সেটাও জানে না। তবে কিছু শিক্ষার্থীর কাছে এমন বলতে শুনি — “বর্তমানে চলছে এমন কাজ হলে Present Continuous হয়.....!" এতটুকুতেই হয়ে গেল Present Continuous শেখা। অসম্পূর্ণ শেখা।  নতুন Curriculum:  ঘুরে আসুন Experience (12)- Subha's Promise, activity   12.3 যেখানে আপনাকে Present Continuous এর Structure সহ সঠিক ব্যবহার অর্থাৎ sense শেখানো হবে।  Sense (1): an action taking place a...

  Get এর ব্যবহারঃ ইংরেজিতে Get শব্দটির ব্যবহার ব্যাপক। বিশেষ করে Spoken English এ গুরুত্ব অনেক। শব্দটি বিভিন্ন অর্থে Sentence এ ব্যবহৃত হয়ে থাকে। Get এর Past form হচ্ছে Got. Get মূল verb হিসেবে, Causative verb হিসেবে অথবা Phrasal verb হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। প্রথমেই দেখা যাক Main verb তথা Principal verb হিসেবে Get কোন ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়: 1. To obtain or receive: কোন কিছু পাওয়া (Obtain) বা গ্রহণ করা (Receive) বুঝাতে Get ব্যবহার করা হয়। (i) I got an email yesterday.-গতকাল আমি একটা মেইল পেয়েছি। (ii) I have got permission to play.- আমি খেলার অনুমতি পেয়েছি। 2.
