Question type: Sentences

 



✅ Core Sentence Types (Structural Classification)


1. Affirmative Sentence – States something positively.

🔹 Example: He eats rice.

🔹 āĻŦাংāϞা: āϏে āĻ­াāϤ āĻ–াāϝ়।



2. Negative Sentence – Expresses denial or negation.

🔹 Example: He does not eat rice.

🔹 āĻŦাংāϞা: āϏে āĻ­াāϤ āĻ–াāϝ় āύা।



3. Interrogative Sentence – Asks a question (Yes/No type).

🔹 Example: Does he eat rice?

🔹 āĻŦাংāϞা: āϏে āĻ•ি āĻ­াāϤ āĻ–াāϝ়?



4. Negative Interrogative Sentence – Asks a question in a negative form.

🔹 Example: Doesn’t he eat rice?

🔹 āĻŦাংāϞা: āϏে āĻ•ি āĻ­াāϤ āĻ–াāϝ় āύা?



5. WH-Question – Begins with a WH-word (what, where, when, etc.).

🔹 Example: What does he eat?

🔹 āĻŦাংāϞা: āϏে āĻ•ী āĻ–াāϝ়?


6. WH-Question Negative – WH-question in negative form.

🔹 Example: What doesn’t he eat?

🔹 āĻŦাংāϞা: āϏে āĻ•ী āĻ–াāϝ় āύা?



7. Tag Question (Positive) – A statement followed by a short question to confirm.

🔹 Example: He eats rice, doesn’t he?

🔹 āĻŦাংāϞা: āϏে āĻ­াāϤ āĻ–াāϝ়, āϤাāχ āύা?



8. Tag Question (Negative) – Negative statement with positive tag.

🔹 Example: He doesn’t eat rice, does he?

🔹 āĻŦাংāϞা: āϏে āĻ­াāϤ āĻ–াāϝ় āύা, āϤাāχ āϤো?



9. Rhetorical Question – A question asked for effect, not expecting an answer.

🔹 Example: Who doesn’t love their mother?

🔹 āĻŦাংāϞা: āĻ•ে āύা āĻ­াāϞোāĻŦাāϏে āϤাāϰ āĻŽাāĻ•ে?



10. Declarative Question – Sentence that is grammatically declarative but functions as a question (usually rising intonation in speech).

🔹 Example: You’re coming to the party?

🔹 āĻŦাংāϞা: āϤুāĻŽি āĻĒাāϰ্āϟিāϤে āφāϏāĻ›ো?
